New President

Newman Marchive Incorporated recently announced the selection of a new corporate president.

Newman Marchive Incorporated (“NMI”), Architects/Building Environmental Consultants, are celebrating upcoming and exciting changes  in 2025.  NMI’s current President, Michael Newman, announces that as of January 1, 2025, he and partners Brady Henderson and Franco Zaragoza have selected their long-time architectural partner Lauren F. Marchive III, to become the next President of the firm.

Lauren Marchive brings his extensive experience and expertise to his new role as NMI President. He has designed many types of buildings including schools, churches, multi-family, assisted living, senior housing, gymnasiums, stadiums, dormitory facilities, retail and commercial office buildings. Lauren’s Civic and Professional involvements include: 

 

  • Caddo Parish Planning & Zoning Commission – Board Member

  • Linwood Public Charter School – Board of Trustees

  • International Code Council - Member

  • National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) - Member

  • American Institute of Architects

  • National Council of Architectural Registration Boards -Member

  • Louisiana Chapter American Institute of Architects

  • Shreveport Chapter American Institute of Architects – Past President

  • Historic Preservation of Shreveport – Past President

  • City of Shreveport Building Board of Appeals – Past Chairman

  • St. Joseph Catholic School – Past PTO President

 

As the founder of NMI, Mike will continue to provide services to the firm’s clients. The firm’s partners, including Brady Henderson and Franco Zaragoza, will continue working together providing innovative solutions for their clients as they have over the last 5 decades. The partners continue to enjoy the challenge of helping their clients build their future.
