Louisiana Association for the Blind
The Louisiana Association for the Blind facility project is a conversion of their copy paper warehouse into their new home Headquarters Facility. The facility now contains state-of-the-art technology systems throughout the building to allow a multi-disciplinary use. The new Headquarters now serves as their main hub of executive offices, a new State-of-art visually assistive technology demonstration center, and a full-service rehabilitation center that offers services to the visually impaired to receive evaluations, treatments, and occupation therapy services.
This was a conversion of approximately 16,000sf of warehouse use into Class A office and medical use. Within the scope of this project Newman Marchive Inc., also provided a new Branding Image for the company, giving their organization a new fresh image and exterior look at their facility.

Conventional materials were used in a creative way giving their new porte-cochere entry a clean functional look that is modern and timeless. The project is currently under construction and will be completed by the end of this year.
